Good Friend, Inc. is thrilled to collaborate with the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin for the 2024/2025 Sibshop season!

The Autism Society will once again host our Sibshop workshops at their location as we work together to transition the program to their care.

We're excited for this partnership and the opportunity to continue supporting siblings of individuals with a brain based disability.

What are Sibshops?

Sibshops are a peer support and educational program where school age brothers and sisters meet other siblings to have fun, laugh, talk about the good and not so good parts of having a sibling with a brain based disability and learn something about the services their brother or sister receive. Our program fosters positive relationships, teaches coping strategies and develops friendships through age appropriate themes such as feelings, friends, self-esteem, bullying or other topics related to being a sibling.
Focuses on self-esteem building, peer connections, and topics related to being a sibling of someone with a brain-based disability with activities and discussions.
A spirited mix of new games (designed to be unique, off-beat, and appealing to a wide ability range), new friends, and discussion activities.
